In a car accident, a dog can be thrown with hundreds of kilos of force into other occupants of the vehicle, easily causing life threatening injuries.
In only a 30mph collision a dog will be thrown forward with a force 20 times it's own body weight!
In many European countries dogs must be restrained in the car and drivers can be fined for failure to do so.
In other countries dogs are considered as 'luggage' and should thus be secured. Insurance companies may not
pay out for injuries sustained by 'loose luggage' in an accident.
Some veterinarians recommend restraint systems to help stabilize a dog when braking, cornering and accelerating.
This gives the dog a feeling of security and can help it overcome nervousness and any fear of car travelling. Many of our

Our system is extremely easy to use and very flexible. It consists of the following two-piece design:
Harness
A specially designed harness with no weight-bearing plastic buckles which comfortably and safely protects your dog, and which can also be used as a walking harness.
Restraint strap
You can connect the strap via its QuickLink to an ISOFix hook, seat belt (strap or buckle) or luggage hook. No other system is so flexible! Then adjust the length
for the required amount of restraint. As soon as your dog is in the car, hook the strap to the harness and your're ready to go!
For added convenience the restraint strap can be left in the car since it takes up so little space.

Who are we?
We're dog lovers! And we searched high and low for a seat belt system
that had a proven safety record, was practical to use and didn't cost the earth.
The seat belt systems available in Europe didn't convince us at all, mainly because it
was clear most would be useless in a collision - they looked like modified walking
harnesses and certainly could not hold the forces developed in an accident.
We turned to the USA where the topic of canine safety seemed to be taken more seriously.
There we found our ideal seat belt system which more than satisifed our demanding criteria.
We were so convinced that this product was miles ahead of anything we had seen in Europe that we
founded the company CHAMPION SWITZERLAND GmbH to promote and distribute it.
As we have continued in our venture, encouraged by very positive customer feedback, we are more convinced
